Forests in the Mid-Bay

Mangrove Forest Since the difference of more than 3 meters of high and low tide in Andaman Sea, the salty water has intruded far deep into the land. Therefore, the mangrove forest here is very vast consisting of various floras such as Rhizophora, Black Mangrove, Red Mangrove, Cork trees, White mangroves, Atap palms, Sea holly and so on.

Evergreen Forest Located in the flatlands and valleys where soil are accumulated. The floras are like Hopia, Fishtail palms, orchids and so on.

Terrestrial Forest The limestone outcrops caused by few soil and limited environment like strong wind. Floras are not too variety; most of them are stunted such as Draceana, Euphobia, Fern and so on.
